As many of you know. the National Novel Writing (NANO) month begins in November. For those unfamiliar with the tradition, writers sign up and commit to writing 50,000 words (or more) in one month. It is a really good way to motivate yourself to sit down and write every day.
Last Tuesday night, Deb McNeill, one of Trinity Writer’s Workshop’s valued members. presemted an excellent class how best to survive National Novel Writing Month with your sanity
intact. As she told all class attendees, kickstart your creativity with NaNoWriMo 2011.
Deb is a published magazine author, as well as a past contributing feature writer to newspapers. She has participated madly in NaNoWriMo since 2008. She is a Christian, photographer, writer, gardener, nature trail hiker and Texas Ranger’s fan who makes a living as a real estate agent. Beneath the mild mannered mask of competent professional lays a creative heart filled with swirls of story, colorful images, and a fiery blaze of creativity.
Deb is a wife to Tim since 1977, mom to Kevin and Nathan, mom-in-law to Lisa, and Happy to granddaughter Charlotte.

At Trinity Writers’ Workshop, we encourage our members to write and share their writing with other supportive members. The groups’ critiques are a great help in the revision process. Another strategy we emphasize is submitting the writing projects for publication.
